Bullivant, Janet M., Thursday, September 5, 2002 at age 55. She is survived by her husband, Roger J. Bullivant; children, Wendy (Bryon) Sells, Roy (Kathy) Bullivant; grandchildren, Marlene, Brittany, Heather, and Aaron; mother, Edna (Lloyd) Carl of Ithaca; brothers and sisters, John (Mary Ann) Fleet of Pennsylvania, Simion Jackson, Robert Fleet, Stephen (Cecilia) Fleet of Ithaca, Jane Ekblad of New Jersey, June (Doug) Voorheis of Burdett, NY: many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bullivant was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Funeral Services were held September 10 at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., Gates. Interment Parma Union Cemetery.


Nitzman, Reta M. (Goebel-Pennica), September 3, 2002. Predeceased by her husband, Erwin Nitzman. Survived by her daughters, Barbara (Aldan) Bell and Denise Page; sons, Charles (Patricia) Pennica and Kenneth Pennica; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many dear relatives and friends. Reta was a member of the American Legion Vet's Club of Brockport.

A Graveside Service was held September 9 in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester. Expressions of sympathy can be directed to the Brockport Fire Department, 191 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


BYRON

Goodwin, Jeanette A., age 70, Tuesday, September 10, 2002, at Lakeside Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Goodwin was born on February 2, 1932 in Batavia, New York the daughter of the late Allen and Nellie (Bird) Darch. She was a member of the Disciples Methodist Church. Mrs. Goodwin was a production worker at Rochester Products.

Survivors include her husband Lawrence Goodwin; one daughter, Cheryl (Donald) Yaxley of Byron; two sisters, Arlene Robinson and Elaine Hills both of Clarendon. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Bridgette Yaxley of Byron, Donald Yaxley III of Colorado, and Janine Yaxley of Montana; three great grandchildren, Natalie and Haley Yaxley of Colorado and Gloria Korlou of Byron; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held September 14 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Burial in North Byron Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Byron Fire Department or Holley Fire and Rescue in her memory.


BROCKPORT

Hoyt, Bernard, On Friday, August 30, 2002. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy McMillan; and several nieces and nephews.

Moe, Helen, age 94, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Eva M. Kemblowski; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Lee I. Moe, and her son, David L. Moe.

Funeral Services were held September 13 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 73 Cottage Street, Auburn, N.Y. Burial in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre. Contributions can be made to the church in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

Armstrong, Albert Verle, Sr., Monday, September 9, 2002, age 87. Predeceased by loving wife, Mary Ruth. Survived by seven children, Melanie (Sam) Solone, William (Carol), Jeanne Montiel, Thomas (Janice), Betty Jo (Tim) Madigan, Albert "Mike" Armstrong, Jr., Kathleen Shafer; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence "Sandy" (Cleo) Armstrong; many nieces, nephews and cousins. For over 50 years, Albert was a member of the Teamsters Local 398, as well as the Moose Club of Churchville.

Moone, Betty (McKelvey), Saturday, September 7, 2002 at age 77. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, David H. Moone and her brothers Robert S., Richard I. and John B. McKelvey. Beloved mother of Carol L. (Ronald) Belczak of Churchville and Dale H. (Joanne) Moone of Odessa; two grandchildren, Jeffery and Jennifer Belczak; sister Phyllis (Robert) Purple of Canandaigua; several nieces and nephews. Formerly of Holley, raised in Bradford, Pennsylvania and Cuba, New York. She was a resident of The Rochester Pres-byterian Home, a member of the Holley Presbyterian Church and The Order of the Eastern Star.

HAMLIN

Leverenz, Terry, On August 30, 2002 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer. He died in their home in Camarillo, California with his wife, Lucy by his side. Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Lucy Leverenz; daughter, Wendy (Robert) Camerata; grandson, Cody; his parents, Luther and Charlene Leverenz of Hamlin; sisters, Deborah (Mike) Hoy, Darlene Nichols, Renee (Dennis) Beskie; brother, Doug (Sue) Leverenz; many nieces and nephews.

DeLano, Betty Lou (Lemcke), September 4, 2002 surrounded by her loving family. Moone, Betty (McKelvey), Saturday, September 7, 2002 at age 77. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, David H. Moone and her brothers Robert S., Richard I. and John B. McKelvey. Beloved mother of Carol L. (Ronald) Belczak of Churchville and Dale H. (Joanne) Moone of Odessa; two grandchildren, Jeffery and Jennifer Belczak; sister Phyllis (Robert) Purple of Canandaigua; several nieces and nephews. KENDALL

VanderLaan, Wayne, age 46 of Roosevelt Highway, died September 9, 2002 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Mr. VanderLaan was born November 5, 1955 in Albion, the son of David and Betty (Frobel) VanderLaan. He had been a lifetime resident of this area. He was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Kendall.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his dear friends John and Shirley Shackleford and Lyndon and Carol Billings; also by several cousins and his dog, Baily.

A Memorial Service was held September 14 at Concordia Lutheran Church. Contributions can be made to either the church or to the H.B.D. (Horse Barn Development) Committee in care of the Orleans County Cooperative Extension in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

Mosley, Doris R., Thursday, September 5, 2002 at age 86. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Mosley Sr. and her brothers, Donald and Vincent Riker. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnne (Edward) Fuierer of Spencerport, her son, William (Carol) Mosley Jr. of Columbia, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Susan, William III (Linda), Michael (Carol), Stacey and Mark; two great grandchildren, Rachel and Graham; sisters, Tillie Barnes and Ruth Frank; brother, Jacque Riker; several nieces and nephews.

•Rice, Jack L., Friday, September 6, 2002 at age 70. He was predeceased by his son, Danny. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Miriam "Jo" Rice; sons, David and Dennis; his two granddaughters, Chelsie and Courtney; sister Peggy (Dale) Allen; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, a member of Brockport Elks Lodge #2110, an Air force veteran and played saxophone and sung in several bands around Rochester and the Niagara Falls area.

Waide, Paul A. Jr., Thursday, September 5, 2002 at age 68. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and was an employee of Ridgemont Country Club.
