MCC offers new truck driving programs

To help meet a growing local and national demand for qualified truck drivers, Monroe Community College is offering several new truck driver training programs at its Applied Technologies Center, 2485 West Henrietta Road.

Along with the five and one-half-week Professional Driving Institute program that trains drivers for the Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), MCC now offers two shorter courses. The Class B Commercial Drivers License program and Road Test Prep program are designed for individuals who have already completed the classroom portion of the Class A commercial drivers course. These are the only courses of their kind offered in Monroe County, according to college officials.

Classes will run throughout the fall with day, evening and weekend sections. Call (585) 292-3878 for more information.
