The Apple of My Eye Photo Contest at this year's Hilton Apple Fest, October 5 and 6, is extending a last call for entries. The deadline for entries is September 27. This year's theme is faces.

Judges this year include Albert L. Seig, a former Eastman Kodak employee where he held the posts of Corporate Vice President in the U.S. and President and CEO of Eastman Kodak Japan. He has held the position of president of numerous national and international photographic clubs and organizations. He has achieved many awards and honors for his work, including PSA Stereo Division Image of the Year for 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1998 and 1999, and in 1995 was awarded the Progress Medal, the Photographic Society's highest honor, in recognition of both scientific and artistic contributions to photography.

Ron Bucci, a Hilton resident and owner of Ron Bucci Photography, will also serve as a contest judge. He holds degrees in audio visual technology from MCC and degrees in illustrative and commercial photography from RIT. Ron is currently a freelance photographer, a firefighter and photographer for the Hilton Fire Department and a photographer for the Hilton Cadet Football tam. His work has been published in several magazines.

Gerald Lamarsh, a professor of communication at MCC, has undergraduate and graduate degrees in communication and behavioral sciences as well as an MFA in photography from RIT. He has held teaching and administrative positions at Southern Illinois University, Millikin University, Indiana University, SUNY Brockport, Parkland College and RIT.

Judging will take place Friday, October 4.

Entries may be dropped off at the Hilton Big M during business hours or mailed to: Photo Contest, P.O. Box 1, Hilton, NY 14468.
