Hilton Board of Education to hear survey results

The Hilton Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting on Tuesday, October 8, at 7 p.m. in the Board Meeting Room of the Quest/West Avenue Building, 225 West Avenue, Hilton, to discuss the findings of the 2002 Harris Interactive Survey.

Part of the District's Excellence in Student Learning Strategic Plan, the survey was administered to students, staff and faculty members and parents in March. Its results have been analyzed by Hilton principals and administrators with several actin plans proposed at each of Hilton's schools. The board is expected to hear how respondents rated the performance of the Hilton schools on areas such as equipment and facilities; computer technology; the school bus; communications/involvement; your child's teacher; the administration of the district and your child's school; curriculum and training; budget and the budget process; and overall satisfaction.
