Area college students can spend
a semester learning at Walt Disney World

On Thursday, October 24, 5:30 p.m., at Monroe Community College, the Walt Disney World College Program will present an information session for interested students from area two and four year colleges.

Students selected to participate in the Walt Disney World College Program will spend from four to six months working, attending classes and enjoying many of the available recreational and social activities at Disney World in Florida.

While all majors are considered for this program, the five majors that best apply to the positions at Walt Disney World are: Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business, Communications, Theater/Drama and Recreation. To apply, students must be currently enrolled in a college/university, must have completed at least one semester and must be in good academic standing with a 2.0 or higher.

The information session, a prerequisite for students to apply, will be held in Room 8-200, of MCC's Brighton Campus, 1000 East Henrietta Road. For information, contact Bill Sigismond in MCC's Office of Experiential Learning at 585-292-3220. Parking is available in Lot J.

At the end of the information session, students will have an opportunity to schedule an interview with a Disney representative. All interviews will be held Friday, October 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at MCC's Brighton Campus and are by appointment only.
