College students pitch in for Make A Difference Day

Saturday, October 26, SUNY College at Brockport will take part in the annual Make a Difference Day. Members of the campus community, including Greek organizations, residence halls, athletic teams, other student groups, and individual students, faculty and staff members, will join with members of the Brockport community to spend the day raking leaves, cleaning up litter, and working to beautify the village of Brockport. The goal is to bring the members of the college and village communities together to promote respect and appreciation for the environment they share.

The program kickoff begins promptly at 1 p.m., on October 26 in the campus mall adjacent to Thompson Hall. In the event of rain, the kickoff will be moved to the Seymour College Union Ballroom. The public is welcome to participate; participants should dress appropriately for the weather. For information contact Karen Podsiadly at (585) 395-5245.
