Amy Unterborn, of Kendall, was one of five women named to the 2002 University of Georgia homecoming court. Her father, Randy Unterborn, a 1978 graduate of UGA, escorted her onto the football field at half time of the UGA-Vanderbilt game on October 19.

Unterborn was nominated by Blue Key Honor Fraternity, of which she is president. She is also serving a second term as president of the University Round Table and is an active member of University Chorus and the Georgia Recruitment Team.

As a member of the UGA Honors Program, Unterborn received a Courts Scholarship to intern in Hong Kong last summer. She worked for international public relations firm Weber Shandwick in the healthcare practice group. Unterborn also serves as a Peer Advisor for the Honors Program, mentoring a group of incoming freshmen honors students.

Unterborn will graduate summa cum laude in May with a bachelor's degree in public relations.

Her parents are Randy and Helen Unterborn of Roosevelt Highway, Kendall.
