Kendall High School Senior Chorus students Kate Lape, Lisa Washington and Kristina Gaylord were selected to participate at the 2002 New York State School Music Association's (NYSSMA) All-State Music Conference in Rochester December 1-4. These students were chosen from many applicants across the state. They will sing alto in the All-State Women's Chorus and Gaylord will sing alto in the All-State Mixed Chorus. Washington is the first Kendall student to be chosen twice to participate in the All-State Music Conference.

The girls also will be participating in the Senior High Area All-State Music Festival for Western New York, along with their classmates Regina Catalino, Latoya Washington, Stacey Snyder and Lisa Salvaggio. The Area Conference will take place November 15 and 16 in Newark, NY. All of the students will sing alto with the exception of soprano Lisa Salvaggio. All of the students have been practicing after school to prepare for the conferences.
