Community center declares
Halloween party a huge success

The Sweden/Clarkson Community Center held its first Halloween Fun Night on October 30. An estimated 600 people attended. Sponsored by Brockport Wegmans, some of the events included the haunted toddler gym (a huge hit), fake tattoos, about a dozen carnival games, an inflatable spacewalk, along with entertainment provided by the Dinner Dogs. Each child received a goody bag at the door and had the opportunity to win a prize for the scariest, most original and the funniest costumes. The winners received gift certificates for the community center, movie tickets, or a gift certificate for Game Craze. Cider and donuts were provided for all who attended. Sodoma Farms donated the pumpkins. The next free community event at the Sweden/Clarkson Community Center will be the Community Holiday Festivities on Saturday, December 7 from 6 to 9 p.m.
