Celebrate Children's Book week at the Ogden Farmers' Library
Celebrate Children's Book week
at the Ogden Farmers' Library

National Children's Book Week runs November 18 through November 23. Children are invited to visit the Ogden Farmers' Library to check out some special events or to get their own library card if they do not have one yet.

Beginning Tuesday, November 12, entry forms will be available for a coloring contest with the theme being "My Favorite Book and Me." Entries must be returned to the library by closing, Thursday, November 21, and the winners, who will receive a Berenstain Bear book, will be posted Friday, November 22. For children ages 5 to 12.

On Saturday, November 23 the library will go to the dogs! "Bones and Nibbles" story hour will feature story telling by local resident and pet therapy specialist Ann Lacey. Special guests at this event will be several therapy dogs, and children will get a chance to read to these eager pets. Session will end with an appropriate "dog-friendly" craft. Registration requested. For information contact the Ogden Farmers' Library at 352-2141.
