Six girls crowned Honor Stars

Six girls were crowned as Honor Stars on October 13 at a formal service at New Covenant Worship Center. Stars Club is the name of a Christian girls club of Missionettes, and is for girls in third through fifth grades. These girls earned the highest honor for the club which took three years of dedicated work. The girls completed 27 units, read the New Testament, memorized about thirty memory verses. Besides work, the girls had fun doing many fun activities, ranging form making soap, to hosting a Mother-Daughter banquet and a sleepover. They attended a summer retreat at Port Jervis, NY. At the event, the girls wore white dresses, blue capes, received tiarras, red roses and an official framed plaque form the national Missionettes office.
