Rochester Federation hosts holiday luncheon

The annual holiday luncheon sponsored by the Rochester Federation of Women's Clubs will be held on Thursday, December 12; socializing at 11:30 a.m., luncheon at 12:15 p.m.

Guest speakers will be from the Heritage Christian Stables, located on Salt Road, Webster. The special bond between a rider and his horse can help people with disabilities reach beyond their limitations to achieve their dreams. These people with disabilities can live on the grounds around the clock or attend the many activities at the day care building.

In October, the Heritage Christian Stables was honored by the State of New York, receiving the Compass Recognition Award, one of seven places getting this honor from over 700 throughout the state for the disabled.

Hostess Clubs this year are the Monroe County American Legion Auxiliary and Catholic Women's Club.

For information contact Chairman Shirley Danylyshyn, 385-2180, or Treasurer Pearl Hess, 342-3407. Deadline is December 5.
