Spencerport Aglow decorating contest entries sought

The seventh annual Holiday Lighting Contest sponsored by the Spencerport Area Chamber of Commerce invites residents to light up their homes for judging.

The contest categories are most unique, most traditional, most spectacular, and judges' choice.

Prizes include: first place - a gift certificate for area chamber merchants; second place - a holiday poinsettia; honorable mention - a framed certificate of participation.

Entry forms are available at the Ogden Town Library, the Spencerport Post Office, M&T Bank and HSBC Bank.

Rules ask that house number must be visible from the road and the previous year first place winners do not participate.

Entry forms may be dropped off at the Spencerport Post Office (look for the Christmas box in the lobby) or mail forms to Spencerport Aglow 2002, 242 South Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14559.

Entry form deadline is December 14.

Judging will take place the week of December 16. Judges will include first place winners from 2001 and area residents.
