Cub Scouts bring holiday cheer to children in hospital

Cub Scouts from North Chili tried to bring some holiday cheer to children who were unable to be home for the holidays. Ten scouts representing Cub Scout Pack 292, chartered by the Chili Lions, visited the Golisano Hospital for Children at Strong Memorial on Tuesday, December 17, to deliver handmade toys and gifts to children who were to be staying in the hospital during the holiday season. Each of the ten Cub Scout dens chose a different type of gift to make and presented over 70 gifts to the hospital. According to hospital sources, there were plans for around 60 children to be staying through January first. Gifts for children in the local hospital is an annual tradition for Pack 292 and is meant to bring some joy to children during their stay at this time of year.
