Start Smart offers children sports intro

Hamlin Recreation offers Start Smart, a sports development program for preschool children ages 3 to 5 with a parent. This is a 6 week program, running on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Parents must attend a meeting Wednesday, January 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the children start attending on January 22.

This program will teach children with their parents, basic sports mechanics necessary to play organized sports and work one-on-one. It will focus on throwing, catching, batting and kicking skills without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt.
