Holley Sports Boosters

On January 31, the Holley Sports Boosters will add John O'Mara to the Holley Central Athletic Wall of Fame. The ceremony will take place at half time of the boys basketball game on January 31.

O'Mara is a graduate of the class of 1962 and is being honored for his outstanding athletic contributions while attending Holley High School. He was a four year varsity soccer and baseball player and a three year varsity basketball player. At the end of his senior year at Holley, O'Mara held every school record in soccer, baseball and basketball except most points in a single basketball game, coming up three points short of that mark.

O'Mara went on to have an outstanding collegiate soccer career, and has recently completed a thirty year career in the United States Army.

Former teammates, friends and community residents are invited to take part in the occasion. Tickets to the game are $1 for adults and 50 cents for students and are available at the door.
