At the town's organizational meeting on January 8, Ogden Supervisor Gay Lenhard presented a plaque of appreciation to Dick Davie for sixteen years of service with the Ogden Conservation Board. Davie had served on the board since January 1987, with eleven years as chairman. "I have enjoyed being on the board," he said, "and I hope that they will now continue to push for environmental issues."

Councilman Thomas Cole was also presented with a plaque honoring his twenty-five years of service as a board member. Cole has also served on the planing board for eighteen years.

Lenhard also announced plans for a new map of Ogden which will soon be available to the public which includes various points of interest, business information and emergency phone numbers. "It will be a who's who of Ogden," she said. The project is moving forward, but according to Lenhard, is still at least two months away from completion.
