Winter recess activities

On Monday, February 17, Kevin SerWacki will be at the library to teach a class on cartooning. It will be an artistic treat. The program is limited to young adults ages 9 to 14.

On Tuesday, February 18, the Cornell Cooperative Extension will present "Caring for Farm Animals." Topics covered will range from horses on down to chickens. This program is for all ages, families are welcome. Free but registration is required. Call the library at 352-2141 to sign up.

Saturday, February 22, the "All You Can Read" Buffet is open to teens grades 6-12. This program will involve a read-in from 1 to 4 p.m. followed by a pizza party from 4 to 5 p.m. to close the event. Anyone who reads for at least two hours or volunteers at the program is qualified to attend the party. Registration began February 8. Contact Mrs. Voelkl at the library for details or to register.

Reminder to moms: The Babytime Story Hour geared for infants ages 0-18 months will kick off Monday, February 24 at 11 a.m. and continue for three more weeks. There are a few spots still open. Call the library for information.
