Cadets' Clark scores career high

Junior Marisa Clark scored a career-high 24 points, including a personal-best four three-pointers, to lead the Hilton Cadets past Greece Olympia 56-33 in girl's basketball January 30.

Clark scored the first eight points of the game and eighteen in the first half as the Cadets ran up a 15-point lead at the break. The second half brought little change with Hilton reeling off eleven straight points to take a 26 point lead before Olympia finished the third quarter with a 12-2 run of their own.

The fourth quarter became the Amy Pratt show as the junior scored six of her ten points to seal the senior night victory. Melissa Haight and Angela Fleischhauer both played in their final regular season home game and were recognized with their families at center court prior to the game.

Pratt had a game-high twelve rebounds to add to her point total while Emilie Welch scored ten points and Danielle Marble knocked down two three-pointers to account for her six points.

"We have been working on our passing and transition game and we did well with both tonight," said head coach Mike Mayer. "With the fast start we had, it was nice for the seniors to get a few more minutes in their last home game."
