Bright Raven gymnasts
take first place

Bright Raven Gymnastics Level 6 Team captured first place at the Valentine Invitational hosted by Buffalo Turners Gymnastics in Kenmore, NY, February 9. All seven members of the Bright Raven team earned individual honors and contributed to the team's win.

In the 12 and over division, Bright Raven swept the all around competition with Breanna Fischer of Gates taking first place (36.50). Sabrina Hill of Hamlin took second (35.95). Amber Kober of Ogden placed third (35.50). Kara Golis of Churchville was fourth (35.45) and Nicole Morone of Churchville was twelfth (33.125). In the individual events, Breanna Fischer was also awarded first place in floor exercise (9.60) and third place on balance beam (9.025). Sabrina Hill took first place on the uneven parallel bars (9.35) and second place in vault (9.40). Amber Kober placed second on bars (9.10) and Kara Golis also placed third on floor exercise (9.225).

In the 10-11 age division, Alyssa Kober of Ogden won first place on the uneven bars (9.05) and balance team (8.80) and took second all around (35.10). Rachel Eckert of Irondequoit took third place on the uneven parallel bars (8.90) and finished seventh all around (34.30).
