Summer soccer tournament planned at sports center

Total Sports Experience, Rochester's newest state-of-the-art sports center, will host the Greece Cobra's 13th Annual Soccer Tournament July 11-13.

The 11 premier quality soccer fields, fully-equipped grounds and 115,000 square foot indoor sports facility at Total Sports Experience will make this year's Greece Cobras Soccer Club event a "Total Tournament Experience." With a reputation for fierce competition from boys and girls premier and travel soccer clubs, past Greece Cobras tournaments have drawn 120 to 140 teams from around the Northeastern U.S. and Canada.

The Greece Cobras are bringing European soccer flair to this event. For the first time, the 2003 Cobras Tournament will include a Family Fun Festival on the Saturday evening of the tournament. Special celebrity guest appearances, food, music, games, activities and more will entertain the expected 2,000 to 5,000 tournament players, families and fans.

The tournament is open to competitive travel, premier, tournament, and select teams for both boys and girls within the Under 9 to Under 19 age brackets. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games. The Greece Cobras Soccer Tournament in USYSA approved and all participating teams must meet USYSA travel procedures for tournament play.
