Information meetings scheduled on Monroe County Proposed Capital Improvement Program

The Monroe County Planning Board will hold three information meetings on the county's proposed Capital Improvement Program for 2004-2009. The schedule of meetings, which all government officials and the general public are invited to attend, is as follows:

  • Tuesday, February 25, 7 p.m., Ogden Community Center, 269 Ogden Center Road.
  • Wednesday, February 26, 7 p.m., Perinton Community Center, Room 205, 1350 Turk Hill Road, Perinton.
  • Thursday, February 27, 7 p.m., City of Rochester, Council Chambers, Room 302A, 30 Church Street, Rochester.

Following opening remarks, officials will present the proposed County Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Questions, comments and discussion will follow.

Since each meeting will cover the same material, it is only necessary to attend one of them to receive a briefing and comment on the projects contained in the County's proposed six-year Capital Improvement Program

Copies of the summary of the proposed CIP will also be available for distribution at the information meetings and will be available in public libraries. The complete CIP document will be available on the web at www.monroecounty.gov, under the heading "Planning and Development Department," "Planning Board," "Related Documents," "2004-2009 Capital Improvement Program." All comments on the plan should be made by March 12.
