•Arnold, Dorothea M. (Bauch), February 24, 2003, age 94 in Tennessee. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Arnold, 1982; her daughter, Alyce Thompson; her sisters, Wilma Gare and Mildred Jerew. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Thomas) Marion; her son, Lynn Arnold (Linda Herman); four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nieces.

Private services were held. Spring interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin.


•Clifford, Wendy L., Caledonia/Rome, NY. Died suddenly on February 24, 2003 at age 38. She is survived by her husband, John Clifford, former Westside News Inc. photographer; son, Nicholas, both of Rome, NY; mother, Margaret Fockler of Caledonia; father, Ivan Fockler of Livonia; three sisters, Brenda (Robert) Kelly of Caledonia, Kelly (Christopher) Manley of LeRoy, Kimberly Fockler of Scottsville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, David (Jean) Clifford of LeRoy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William (Margaret) Clifford of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held February 28 at the Alhart Funeral Home, Caledonia. Interment, Mumford Rural Cemetery.


•Draper, Timothy M., February 17, 2003. Founder of the Rochester City Ballet. Predeceased by his brother, William, a nephew and great-niece. Survived by his partner, Randy A. Stringer; parents, Hazel C. Draper of Churchville and Lionel E. Draper of Dansville; brother, Mark (Kathy) Draper of Florida; sisters, Donna (Art) Hansmann and Jaye Eileen Draper of Churchville; nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held February 26 at the Diplomat Banquet Center, Rochester. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be directed to the Rochester City Ballet, 320A N. Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14607 in his memory.


•Fitzsimmons, Kimberly (Levy), February 23, 2003 at age 35 after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by her loving husband, John; daughter, Nikole; parents, Janice and Edward Levy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Barb Levy, Andy and Christy Levy of Raleigh, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Marian Goldfarb; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Ann and James Fitzsimmons of Churchville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol and James Sauer, Patricia and Christopher Purcell; aunt and uncles, Barbara and Darryl Stadtmiller and Ronald Levy; many cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Funeral Services were held February 26 in Benjamin Goldstein Chapel at Temple B'rth Kodesh. Interment private. Donations can be made to the Wilmont Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester 14642 to support Brain Tumor Research.


BROCKPORT

•DeRuyscher, Howard A. "Howie," February 26, 2003 at the age of 82, after a short illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Beatrice (Parish) DeRuyscher; daughters, Sandra (Neal) Mosher and Jacquelyn (Joseph) Bradt; sons, Timothy (Cindy) and Rob (Nancy) Hyde-DeRuyscher; grandchildren, Tina, Harvey, Ricky, Austin, and Elicia; sister, Mildred (DeRuyscher)Vaughn; several nieces and nephews. Howie was a veteran of WW II Air Corps and a life member of the Brockport Fire Department.

•Diltz, Larry B., February 20, 2003. Suddenly at age 44. Survived by his parents, Richard and Thelma Diltz; his daughter, Roxanne (Randy Ham) Perrin; granddaughter, Brittney Perrin; father-in-law, Roy Woods; brother, Gary (Sharon Kinsley) Diltz; sisters, Connie (Jim) Smith, Deborah (Lee) Lindenmuth; several nieces and nephews; beloved canine friend, Foxy.

•March, Blanche S., February 23, 2003, age 96. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Richard) Schepler and Penelope (Paul) Bradler; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Darryl March, 2001. She was a retiree of Hilton Central School where she taught Social Studies for many years. She was a lifetime member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, also a member of Western Monroe Historical Society, NYS and Rochester Retired Teachers Associations. She was also the oldest living alumnus of Brockport Normal School (SUNY Brockport) where she is a member of Hartwell Society, its Alumni Association.

A Memorial Service was held February 28 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Brockport. Those wishing can make contributions to Western Monroe Historical Society or Blanche S. March Scholarship, c/o SUNY Brockport, 350 New Campus Drive, 14420 in her memory.


CHILI

•Cross, John O., February 24, 2003 at age 60. A resident of Chili for 30 years. Predeceased by his parents, Orville and Bertha Cross. Survived by his wife, Judith; daughters, Susan (David) Rhine and Karen (Chad) Brown; sons, David (Shauna), Brian (Deann) and Paul (Jayana); grandchildren, Chloe Brown and Corbin Johnson; sister, Patricia (David) Clarke; brother, William; nieces, Dawna Clarke and her son, Joshua, Lauren (Robert) Radifera; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. John was retired from Chase Lincoln as Assistant Vice President, was the Chairman of the Chili Town Planning Board, a member of Chili Republicans and various other organizations.

CLARENDON

•Webster, Charles L., age 75, of Bennett's Corners Road, died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at Park Ridge Hospital following a long illness. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at Flower City Building Supply in Rochester before retiring. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and trucks. He is survived by his wife, Hazel (Mower) whom he married in 1947; five sons, David C. Webster of Clarendon, Gerald A. Webster of Brockport, Donald (Yi) Webster of Rochester, Steven (Debra) Webster of Clarendon and Mark L. Webster of Albion; grandchildren, Brooke (Jason) Foote of Barre, Cory Webster of Connecticut, Aaron Webster of Brockport, Josh (Katie) Webster of Albion, Justin Webster and Kyle Webster, both of Clarendon, Joseph (Jessica) Root of California; one brother; five sisters. He was predeceased by two brothers.

Funeral Services were held February 25 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Interment in Hillside Cemetery in the spring. Memorials can be made to the Clarendon Ambulance.


HAMLIN

•Hemmerick, Donald W., age 70. Died in Florida, February 9, 2003, formerly of Hamlin area. Predeceased by four brothers. He is survived by loving wife of 43 years, Joan; son, Mike of Bergen; daughter Margaret (Javier) of Florida; two grandchildren, Juan and Vannesa; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Judy; mother-in-law, Sarah Maher of Florida; several nieces and nephews; also many friends.

•Parker, Elouise M. "Lois," February 19, 2003, age 92. She was predeceased by her husband, George E. Parker, 1992. She is survived by her children, Raymond (Carol), Ronald (Tricia) Mason, Marion Ostrowski, Patricia (Keith) Krotz and Carol Friga; many grandchildren and great and great-great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her daughter, June White.

A Funeral Mass was said February 22 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Spring interment, Parma Union Cemetery.


HOLLEY

•Engert, Paul E., In Kansas, age 21, formerly of Holley, died suddenly February 14, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident. Former Army Private First Class serving in active duty in Fort Rily. He is survived by his parents, Carl and Sheryl Engert of Albion; brothers, Carl J. Engert II of Kentucky, Matthew Engert of Holley; sister, Laura Engert of Albion; grandparents, Charles Engert, Beecher and Shirley Jeffery all of Albion; uncle Chester Engert of Albion; nephews, Carl James Engert of Kentucky and Zackery D. J. Lippens of Albion.

Funeral Services were held February 21 with military honors at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery.


•Lanni, Regina M., Age 83, died February 22, 2003. Mrs. Lanni was predeceased by her husband, Louis and also by her son, Dennis.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held February 28 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport, NY 14420 in her memory.


•Lestorti, Jessie, Age 97, died February 22, 2003. Predeceased by her husband, Michael. Survived by her daughters, Edna Ruggeri, Lorraine Pera; son, Joe (Ingrid) Lestorti; four grandchildren, Bernard (Linda), Donald (Liz), Kris (Vince) and Stephen ; six great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held February 24 at St. Mary's Church, Holley. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial can be made to St. Mary's Maintenance Fund in Holley or organization of one's choice.
