Area churches host student lock-in

Area students in grade 6-12 are invited to attend Midnight Madness 2003 at SUNY Brockport’s Tuttle Complex. This all-night lock-in will begin at 8:30 p.m., March 21 and will conclude at 6 a.m., March 22. A collaborative effort between Brockport Free Methodist Church, Christ Community Church and Edgewood Free Methodist Church, this event is designed for students to have a night full of fun.

A concert with music from the bands The Benjamin Gate and Falcon 7, a local band, as well as drama from The Choice Assembly Team will kick off the event. A blow-up obstacle course, Sumo wrestling, ice-skating, basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, video games and other activities will follow the concert. The Family Life Network will DJ the event throughout the night.

Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Permission forms and medical history forms need to be turned in by the time students arrive at the event. Forms are available through the Brockport Free Methodist Church, 6787 Fourth Section Road, (585) 637-9785, or they will be available for parents to fill out the night of the event. The pre-registration price of $15 per student will be accepted through March 17, after which the price per person will be $20 at the door.
