•Faugh, Mary D., born June 6, 1914 in Goner, Manitoba; a daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Kotyluk Danko; died March 7, 2003 at her home in Bergen.

She was a retired Registered Nurse. Wife of the late Louis J. Faugh; mother of Kathryn (David) Fieret of LeRoy and Karen (Richard) Fisher of Bergen; grandmother of Gregory Fisher and Daniel Fisher, both of Bergen; sister of Joseph (Mary) Danko of Ontario, Canada, Anne Shewchuk of Florida and Emilie Weiler of Arizona.

Services were private. Memorials can be made to Homecare & Hospice, 550 East Main Street, Batavia, 14020.


BROCKPORT

•Henion, Mary Louise, on March 8, 2003. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Eunice and James Weinkauf, Brockport; two grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth (Keith) Johnson, Katherine Weinkauf; one great-grandchild, Alexa Johnson; two sisters, Marjorie Beadle, Brockport, Eunice Bruzee, Marion; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held March 15 at the Church of the Nativity, Brockport. Friends wishing can contribute to the American Heart Association or Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in her memory.


CHILI

•Westbrook, Howard A., age 83, March 7, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Shirley; and two sons, Craig and Larry (Jean); two granddaughters, Courtney and Kendall.

Funeral Services were held March 10 at the funeral home of Alvah Halloran & Son. Interment Grove Place Cemetery. Contributions can be made to charity of one's choice in his memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Pimm, Neva E., March 5, 2003 at age 82. She was predeceased by her husband Oliver. She is survived by her sons Richard (Patrica) Pimm of Fairport and Leslie Pimm of Churchville; her sisters Margaret Brown of Indiana and Irene Howe of Batavia; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held March 8 at Riga Congregational UCC, 7057 Chili Riga Center Road, Churchville, NY 14428. Contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund of Riga Congregational UCC in her memory.


FANCHER

•DePalma, Juanita A. (Passarell), age 86 died March 10, 2003 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. She was born January 21, 1917 in Brockville, a daughter of Romulo and Carina Passarell and had lived in Fancher most of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Holley. Juanita and her late husband, Gene, operated DePalma's Service Station in Fancher for many years.

She is survived by her children, Peter DePalma of Atlanta, Georgia; Karen (Robert) Christopher of Burke, Virginia; Cheryl DePalma of Holland, New York; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Angelina Nenni of Albion, Cora DePalma of Holley, Edna Passarell and Violet Passarell both of Michigan; brothers-in-law, Thomas DePalma of Fancher, James Goggin of Rochester and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 13 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Holley. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Albion. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.


HAMLIN

•LeClair, Martha S., on March 5, 2003 age 84. Predeceased by her husband, Jack LeClair. Survived by her sister, Doris Culver of Florida; and close friends. She was a member of the Leah Chapter 183 O.E.S. of Hilton and a member of the Gervin Club.

A Memorial Service was held March 7 at Hilton United Methodist Church, 21 West Avenue, Hilton. Contributions can be made to the Hilton United Methodist Church in her memory.


•Schneider, Edward, January 3, 2003 in Tampa, Florida. Until recently lived in Hamlin. Survived by sister, Roberta (Nick) Tantalo; brother, George Schneider; step-brother, Pat (Joyce) Attridge; step-sister, Jean (Fred) Tytler; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired Security Guard at Schlegel Systems.

A Memorial Mass was held March 15 at Church of the Annunciation, Rochester.

•Bauman, Donna J., March 8, 2003, age 50. Predeceased by her father, James C. Bauman. Survived by her mother, Catherine Bauman; daughter, Melissa "Missy" O'May and her father, Andy O'May; brothers, Gerald J. (Kathleen) Bauman, James T. (Carolyn) Bauman, Steven D. (Cindy) Bauman; close friend, Robert P. Harris; several nieces and nephews.

•Morici, Geraldine M., March 10, 2003, age 85. Predeceased by her brother, Carl Ott; sister, Verna Lakeman. Survived by her husband, Joseph Morici; several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service was held March 13 at Lakeside Memorial Park in Hamburg. Contributions can be made to Lollypop Farm in her memory.


HOLLEY

•McMullen, Lucile I., age 77, March 6, 2003. Predeceased by husband Harold in 2002. Survived by son; Gary, daughter, Nancy; sister, Mary Leuze; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held March 11 at St. Mary's Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring. Memorials can be made to St. Mary's Church or the Holley Fire Department Emergency Squad in her memory.


•Weader, Thelma L., age 60, died March 9, 2003. Survived by husband, Gary; son, Charles (Christine) Weader of Macedon; daughter, Kelly (Kenneth) Marling of Albion; grandchildren, Joshua, Jamie, Shannon, Renee and Julia; brother, Robert (Gina) Sweeney of Hamlin; sisters, Mary Ellen (Joseph) Wiggington of Gates, Patricia Sweeney of Brockport, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

•Lape, Melody M., RNC, CBE, CLC: age 47 died March 11, 2003. She was predeceased by her mother Virginia Miller. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Craig; her sons, Bradley, Bryan; daughter, Catherine; brother, Doug (Nancy Baker) Miller; sister, Lynda (Bob) Negelty; her father, Kenneth Miller; mother-in-law, Carmella Lape; several foster children, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service was held March 15 at Kendall United Methodist Church. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Orleans County, the OB Unit Building Fund of Lakeside Hospital or Kendall United Methodist Church in her memory.

•Greenblatt, Robert L., Monday, March 10, 2003. Survived by his loving wife, Mary; cherished son and best pal, Michael; parents, Joel and Shirley; two loving brothers, David, Richard (Michelle) of Atlanta; grandfather, Eugene Slate; father-in-law, David (Charlotte) Lavery; brother-in-law, John (Cheryl) Lavery; niece and nephews, Joshua, Meghan, Andrew. Brendan and Adam; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert was a member of the Chili Soccer Board and truly enjoyed coaching Chili Boys Soccer.

•Ladd, Harold D., March 8, 2003. Predeceased by his brothers, Wallace and Vincent Ladd and his sister Lavina Tenny. Survived by his daughters Lavina "Lee" (Ken) Kaye, Dolores (Rich) Baron and Elaine (Dave) Kirby; sons Harold (Darla), Richard (Debbie), Steven (Jane), Anthony (Lisa) and Jeffrey (Sheri) Ladd; sisters-in-law Gertrude and Loretta Ladd; 21 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was an army veteran of WWII.

Funeral Services were held March 11 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc. Spencerport. Spring interment Maple Grove Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330 in his memory.


•Verkest, Lucille A. (Malone), on March 5, 2003 in Aurora, Illinois. She was married to Albert P. Verkest July 3, 1943 until his death in 1985. She is survived by her daughters Janice (Harold) McMullen of Albion, Kathy (Brent) Jones of Aurora, Illinois and Eileen (Rob) Goodwin of Brockport; her son Alan P. Verkest of Ontario, sisters-in-law Natalie Verstraete, Nettie Malone and Julia Meyer; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She volunteered for many years at Park Ridge Hospital and was an active member of Hilton Parma VFW Post #6105 Auxiliary.

A Funeral Mass was held March 10 at Holy Trinity Church, Webster. Spring interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Contributions can be made to GRHC/Hospice in her memory.


•Voorheis, Ray LaVerne "Verne", suddenly March 7, 2003 at age 77. He is survived by his wife Bette M. Voorheis, sons Randy, Robert and Ray Frederick Voorheis; his daughters Sheryl Anne Voorheis and Sandra (Dennis) LaBelle; grandchildren Melanie Voorheis, Laurie (Tim) Girvin and Joseph Voorheis; sister Eleanor Steinhardt; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a water well driller for over 40 years, served as Town of Ogden Highway Superintendent for 10 years and worked in the town highway department over 20 years and was a member of Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954.

Mr. Voorheis died as a result of a fall on the ice at his home, according to his wife.
