The Parma Steppers keep on dancing
Leader will be missed

The Parma Steppers have recently lost a special person, Berna Prehn, who for years was the unquestioned leader and inspiration behind this group of dancers. Berna recently passed away from complications due to the return of cancer. Her enthusiasm for life and dancing will be sorely missed by her fellow "steppers" as well as the many lives she touched at the Hilton-Parma Senior Center.

The Parma Steppers began nearly 18 years ago as a chance to socialize and complete several dance steps. The group has evolved to approximately 20 members and performed at various community events throughout the years.

Although still committed, dancing on a weekly basis, the group has lost its leader and is looking to refocus and continue dancing. As the Parma Steppers re-organize, they are searching for another gifted dancer willing to lead them and continue their rich history. The group will continue to meet every Tuesday morning at 10:15 a.m. in the Hilton Village Community Center. Those wishing to participate or possibly provide assistance can call 392-9030 for information.
