Chili Senior Center spring offerings

The Chili Senior Center announces the following activities for the spring season. A three-week program to help people with arthritis learn ways to take control of their illness will be held on Tuesdays, April 29 to May 13 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. This free course is instructed by the Arthritis Foundation and topics will include: exercise, pain management, diet, communicating with health care provider, relaxation and stress management. Participants must commit to all 3 weeks. Call 889-6185.

A trip to the JELL-O Gallery in LeRoy is set for Tuesday, April 15 from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants will explore the history of America's most famous dessert, visit the gift shop and tour the historic LeRoy House. Lunch will be served at the D & R Depot. There will also be a guided driving tour of the underground railroad. The cost is $22. Call 889-6185.

Dates and times for a support group for senior citizens who are visually impaired or have low vision will be determined by interest. Call 889-6185.

The last of a series of Tuesday Talks will be Tuesday, March 25. Priscilla Minster, Director of the Oasis program, an educational program for older adults, will be the guest speaker. The program begins at 11 a.m. Coffee provided. There is no charge to participate.
