Six local players named hockey All-Stars

Six high school hockey players for local schools were among 37 players named to the Monroe County High School Hockey League 2002-03 All-Star Teams.

In the White Division, Brockport's Colby Jones was named Player of the Year in the White Division and teammates Craig Willis and Casey Balog were two of the three forwards named to the first team.

Jones was second on the Blue Devils with 24 points, including 18 assists this season. Balog led the team in scoring with 33 points and 19 goals and Willis had 22 assists with 32 points in divisional game scoring.

Also named to the White Division Second Team was Hilton senior forward Joe Patarino and Churchville-Chili defenseman Brad Gurbacki. Patarino scored 11 goals and 11 assists to lead the Cadets in division play, while Gurbacki led the Saints with six points and four goals.
