Children collect books for second Philippines Library

For the second year, the children and young people of Trinity Episcopal Church, 3450 Ridge Road West, are collecting books of all sorts to send to a school in the Philippines to create a library for use by teachers and students.

Marnie Boyd, the Peace Corps volunteer who initiated the project in the Philippines last year, is working with Trinity again to make certain that the school where the books are sent will get the best use from them. Text books, stories, dictionaries, and encyclopedias are all being sought. In addition, donations are being accepted to offset the shipping costs.
