Entrants invited in Canal Days canoe race

Registrations are underway for the 2003 Spencerport Canal Days Canoe Race. The race will be Sunday, July 27 at 1 p.m. during the weekend of Spencerport Canal Days.

Cash prizes will be offered: $200 - fastest, $50 - second place, $50 - most colorful, $50 - most original, $50 - most creative.

Organizations, businesses and individuals are invited to participate. Last year's event drew a large crowd of spectators and many unique canoe decorations. Call Ellen Carr at 352-1162 for information.
