Wegman Companies support hospital's capital campaign'

The Philip Wegman Family, owners of The Landing in Brockport, donated $50,000 to Lakeside's "Building for the Next Generation" capital campaign. Representatives from Wegman Companies and The Landing presented the gift to Charles W. Smith, CEO, at a social held at Lakeside.

Since The Landing opened, a great relationship has developed between the two neighbors. Both facilities have benefited greatly from their close proximity - The Landing assisted Lakeside during its evacuation in 2001 - Lakeside assisted The Landing during the ice storm of 2002. As an acknowledgment for this generous gift, a plaque was presented to The Landing and Wegman Companies naming the Fourth Floor Solarium in honor of The Landing residents who were temporarily housed there during the ice storm.

Neighbors donate to Lakeside - Michael Perry, senior vice president of Lakeside, presents a plaque to The Landing and Wegman Companies in recognition of their $50,000 gift.
