New site for Riga egg hunt

The Town of Riga's annual Easter Egg Hunt has been moved to a new location this year, and will take place Saturday, April 12 at the Maher Lodge at the South Sanford Road Recreation Facility.

Children from Churchville and Riga are invited to hunt for eggs, meet the Easter Bunny and win prizes. "Everybody gets something," said Riga Recreation Director Cathy Anderson. The event which includes face-painting, games, cookie decorating, refreshments and a visit from the big bunny is free for the community.

Children ages two to five years-old will hunt for eggs at 10 a.m. and those age five through age ten can find theirs at 11 a.m. The rain date for the event is April 19.
