Chili Senior Center Programs

Arthritis Self-Help Course - a three-week program to help people with arthritis learn ways to take control of their illness offered on Tuesdays, April 29-May 13 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Free. Instructed by the Arthritis Foundation. Topics include exercise, pain management, diet, communicating with health care provider, relaxation and stress management. Participants must commit to all three weeks. To register, call 889-6185.

Low Vision Support Group - anyone interested in participating in a support group for senior citizens who are visually impaired or have low vision, can call 889-6185. Dates and times will be determined by interest.

Spring Dinner Party - Friday, May 9. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Entertainment following dinner. Buffet dinner catered by Forest Hills and will include oven roasted chicken, Italian meatballs, potato, pasta, vegetable, tossed green salad, roll and butter, coffee and dessert. $10 per person - deadline April 30.

Yoga - Thursdays, April 24-May 29 (6 weeks) from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Wear loose clothing and bring a beach towel, mat or small blanket. $20. Participants must register by April 17.
