of the Year honored The Greece Teachers Association has presented its Fourth Annual Golden Apple Teacher of the Year. Richard Fiorito, a physical education teacher at Westridge School, has worked for the Greece Central School District for 30 years. During his career, Fiorito has been a presenter at conferences within the region and the state. He has been published in the NYS Elementary Physical Education Newsletter. Fiorito lives in Spencerport with his wife, Sharon, and is the father of Christopher, Rick, Margaret and David. Fiorito was presented a plaque from the Greece Teachers Association at the April 10 Board of Education meeting. The Greece Teachers Association seeks nominations from the community, parents, teachers and administrators in the fall of each year. A district parent and a colleague nominated Fiorito. Nomination forms are available from the Association offices and in buildings during parent conferences. |
