New Director of Finance and
School Services appointed at C-C

The Churchville-Chili Board of Education passed a resolution to hire Franklin C. Nardone as the Director of Finance and School Services at the school board meeting on March 25.

Nardone comes to Churchville-Chili from the Batavia City School District where he served for five years as School Business Administrator. He and his wife, Jeanne, are residents of North Chili, and have three children. Two of their children, Eric and Jeremy, attend Churchville-Chili Intermediate School. Stefanie, age 4, will attend kindergarten in the fall at Chestnut Ridge Elementary School.

Annemarie Spadafora, Superintendent of Churchville-Chili Schools, said Nardone's experience set him apart from the other candidates. "I'm excited to have Frank Nardone join our team, dedicated to making Churchville-Chili an efficient and high achieving district," said Spadafora. Nardone holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology; a Master of Science in education from the State University of New York at Brockport and a certification of advanced study in school business administration from SUNY Brockport. "I'm excited to work in my home district. My goals are to do what is right for the kids and also to look out for the interests of the community," said Nardone.

Nardone is expected to begin work at Churchville-Chili effective April 21. He will replace Ralph Smith, former C-C Assistant Superintendent for Administration. Smith left the district in January to join the Williamsville Central School District as assistant superintendent for human resources.
