SUNY Brockport announces new foundation board members

The SUNY College at Brockport Foundation has elected new members to its Board of Directors.

William Rock retired in 1995 as Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus of Educational Administration after a 28-year career at SUNY Brockport. He has endowed two projects at the college: the Annette L. Rock Nursing Scholarship and the William C. Rock Endowment for the Liberal Arts. Rock earned a bachelor's and a master's degree from SUNY Albany ('56/58) and a doctorate in education from Columbia University ('61).

Mary Worboys is a volunteer on many boards, including the Salvation Army and the John F. Wegman Foundation. She has worked with the Hochstein School of Music, the Russian American Exchange, Inc., the Rochester Rotary Club and the United Way of Rochester. Earning a bachelor of science degree from Ashland College ('73) and master of science degree from Northern Illinois University ('76), she has also taken classes at the University of Rochester and SUNY Brockport. She and her husband, Scott Turner, live in Churchville. Turner is a member of Brockport's College Council.

Doreen Raimondi is a SUNY Brockport graduate with a bachelor of business administration ('80) along with an MBA in executive management from Harvard University. The recipient of 19 leadership awards, she is currently IBM Corporation's director for U.S. government sales in Rochester. She is a board member of the National Organization of Women Business Owners and AJ Hughes Corporations, as well as CEO and board member of a privately owned Rochester manufacturing company for the last 10 years. She is a Rochester resident.

The Brockport College Foundation is an independent, self-supporting organization formed to assist the college in raising funds to help foster student success from individuals, corporations and foundations.
