•DeHey, Phyllis Duffy, May 5, 2003, age 82. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Dewey DeHey. She is survived by her children, Arthur Duffy (Lorraine) DeHey, Jerome (Catherine) DeHey and Nora (John) Gevlin; her grandchildren, Tori, John, Megan, Kelsey, Jerome John, Aaron and Lisa. Phyllis was a teacher at Hilton Central School for over 30 years, a lifetime member of Nativity BVM Church & Catholic Daughters of America. A Funeral Mass was said Friday, May 9 at Nativity BVM Church, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. •Hoffman, Estelle, May 1, 2003, age 90. She is survived by her children, Carol B. Hart (Linda Armstrong), Robert L. (Evelyn) Weber and Barbara Buttacavoli; several brothers and sisters; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many friends. Funeral Services were held May 5 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Ritchie, John, May 4, 2003, age 76. Survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Ian (Karen) Ritchie, David (Brenda) Ritchie, Alan (Debra) Ritchie, Fraser (Tammy) Ritchie, Bill Ritchie, Alistair (Colleen) Ritchie, Michael Ritchie; brother, David (Bette) Ritchie; sister, Jean (Bill) Jackson; grandchildren, Robert (Rachel), Scot, Heather, Aaron, Michael, Graeme, Lindsay, Courtney, Eric, Danielle, Nicole, Timothy, Sara; great-grandchildren, Kaila, Kevin. John was a Life Member of the Easter House Masonic Lodge of Scotland. Funeral Services were held May 8 at Greece Assembly of God Church. •Schoeneman, Rita T., May 1, 2003. She is survived by her beloved devoted husband of 62 years, William D. Schoeneman; her children Daniel (Diane) Schoeneman, Peggy (Ronnie) Walter; daughter-in-law, Bernice Lindsay; two sisters, Doris Bilohlavek and Jean Boyle; sister-in-law, Rose Phelen; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Debbie Bell. Trenholm, Horace M. "Larry," May 1, 2003. Survived by his wife, Joan (Smith) Trenholm; three children, William Curtiss (Gail) Trenholm, Scott L. Trenholm, Kimberly G. Trenholm and her husband, Louis Perticone; two granddaughters, Jennifer E. and Melissa L. Trenholm; three brothers, Ralph (Edna), Harold (Betty) and Carl Trenholm; his good friend and neighbor, Bob Woodams; several nieces and nephews. He was a Royal Canadian Air Force Veteran, Kodak retiree, member of Charlotte-Corinthian Lodge #1088 F&AM and Rochester Commercial Travelers. Funeral Services were held May 3 at John Knox Presbyterian Church. Interment Parma Union Ceme-tery. Verney, Diane M., January 21, 2003 in North Carolina, formerly of Hilton. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy C. Verney; her brother, Daniel (Sandra) Verney; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Arthur S. Verney. A Memorial Prayer Service was held May 10 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton, followed by inurnment, Clarkson-Union Cemetery, Hamlin.

Weather, Velma Jean (Kaiser), Suddenly, April 30, 2003, age 71. She is survived by her husband, Arthur F. Weather; her daughter, Kathy (Richard) Girvin; two granddaughters, Theresa and Katie Girvin; two sisters, Thelma Meagher and Dolores Danelli; several nieces and nephews. She was a Kodak retiree. A Memorial Service was held May 3 at Lutheran Church of The Redeemer. Private interment, Parma Union Cemetery. •Ballard, Bruce R., Thursday, May 1, 2003 at age 76 in Woburn, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Anna Jane (Simpson) Ballard; daughter, Linda Ballard and her son, Danny; son Laird and his wife Geri and their sons, Joshua and Bruce; sister, Jeannette Elliott; his brother, John Ballard; cousin Marian Savage. Funeral Services and interment were at the convenience of the family.

Howe; her sons Patrick (Leslie) Howe, Gregory (Teresa) Howe and Bennett Howe (Lidia Martone); three granddaughters Andrea, Carrie and Danielle; brothers Joseph, Angelo (Frances) and George (Barbara) Spinella; sisters Grace Lopesz and Mary Pugh; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass was held May 7 at St. Thomas Church, New Hartford, New York. Interment Mt. Olivett Cemetery, Whitesboro, New York.
