A celebration of Grace

On Sunday evening, May 18, First Bible Baptist Church will host a celebration to mark the Thirtieth Anniversary of Pastor George Grace as a staff member of the church and of his Twentieth Anniversary as Senior Pastor.

Through his leadership, the 58-acre Grace and Truth SportsPark is a place where young people and families are involved in quality athletics programs; the annual FBBC Candidates' Night is one of the largest political forums in the state, an event where candidates and elected officials meet and greet their constituents; the word of God is faithfully taught; and churches across America and around the world have benefited from the church's bi-annual Pastors' School of Discipleship, according to church members.

The Celebration Service, to be held at the church at 6 p.m., will allow church members and community leaders to tell Pastor Grace how much he and his family are appreciated. Officials who will attend and make presentations include Greece Supervisor John Auberger with members of the Town Council, Monroe County District Attorney Howard Relin, Monroe County Clerk Maggie Brooks, and several Monroe County legislators.

A reception will immediately follow the service. The public is invited to attend.
