Phillip M. Fiero has been named to the dean's list at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He has also been accepted into the college's education program. He is a 2002 graduate of Hilton High School and a recipient of a Hilton Teacher's Association Scholarship. Phillip is the son of Nadine and Jack Fiero of Hilton.


Jason Dahlman, Spencerport, won his third title at the 2003 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, held May 2-3 at Saginaw Valley State. The Ashland University senior is a graduate of Aquinas Institute. He won the pole vault at 16-00.25.


Rebecca King of Forest Meadow Trail, Rochester, has been placed on the dean's list for the Fall 2002 semester at the State University College at Cortland. King, who is majoring in secondary education English, is a graduate of Spencerport High School.


Marine Corps Pvt. Andrea M. List, daughter of Debi M. and Mark J. List of Bergen, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. List is a 2002 graduate of Byron-Bergen High School.


Marine Corps Pvt. Matthew J. Difrancesca, son of Kimberly and Ross P. Difrancesca of Rochester, completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, designed to challenge new Marine recruits both physically and mentally. Difrancesca is a 2002 graduate of Gates Chili High School.
