Lakeside Health Care honors employees

Lakeside employees gathered to honor fellow co-workers at Lakeside's Robert W. Harris Employee of the Year celebration. Recognized at the celebration were former employees of the month Tanya Burns, Long Term Care/Performance Improvement Coordinator Associate, May; Laura Mann, Head Teacher at Lakeside Child Care, June; Nancy Curtis-Caswell, Radiology Assistant, July; Lorraine Buzard, CSR/OR Aide, August; Laurie Hatch and Linda Hueser, Transcripitionists, October; Angela Eichelberger, RN, November; Tracy Miconi, full-time Certified Nurses Aide at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, December; Susan Barton, Head Teacher at Lakeside Child Care, January; Lisa Hughes, Health Unit Coordinator in the Emergency Department, February; Gregg Stroyan, Respiratory Therapist - Technical Coordinator at Lakeside Memorial Hospital, March; and Jodie Blank, Health Unit Coordinator in the Emergency Department, April.

All the employees honored bring to Lakeside a special gift and have contributed in their own way to help Lakeside provide "Quality Care Close to Home." "There is no greater resource in an organization than the employees of the organization," stated Charles W. Smith, Lakeside CEO.

A special congratulations was given to Lakeside's Robert W. Harris Employee of the Year Gregg Stroyan. Stroyan has been with Lakeside for almost three years and was Lakeside's March 2003 employee of the month. He resides in Medina. Gregg Stroyan was also named Employee of the Year while he was employed at Medina Memorial Hospital.

Stroyan was honored at a reception on May 14 and was presented with an employee parking space for the year, $500 check, three days of vacation time, a portrait session at Helen Simpson's Studio in Brockport and his name on the Robert W. Harris employee of the year plaque. The plaque along with the recipient's portrait will be displayed at Lakeside across from the Physical Therapy office.
