Top bodybuilding event scheduled for Rochester

On June 7 many of the country's finest bodybuilders will travel to Rochester to participate in the prestigious NPC Rochester Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships to be held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester.

The National Physique Committee of the U.S.A., Inc., the largest amateur bodybuilding federation in the world, has sanctioned the event, which serves as a qualifier for the national championships which will be held in Miami, Florida in November.

Featured at this year's event will be a guest posing exhibitions by Rochester's George Farah and Syracuse's Jeremy Freeman, two of the area's newest professional bodybuilders. Also guest posing will be Kevin Levrone, who placed second in last year's Mr. Olympia competition in Las Vegas. The Mr. Olympia is the highest rated professional bodybuilding event in the world.
