Sisters earn degrees on May 17

Two daughters of Carol and Dean Arlidge of Churchville, Nancy and Christine, earned degrees May 17.

Nancy earned a bachelor of science degree in 1974 and was a pharmaceutical sales representative when she decided to change her profession and returned to school at D'Youville College in Buffalo. She earned a master's degree in education (GPA 3.9) and is now teaching at Niagara-Wheatfield Junior High School in Niagara County.

Christine, who had an associate degree, and her husband had an herbal business for nearly twenty years, selling internationally, when she decided to go back to school. She now has her bachelor of science degree in dietetics with a minor in chemistry, graduating magna cum laude and received six awards for excellence from SUNY at Oneonta. Syracuse University has accepted her for her Internship.
