Girls Scouts need volunteers

The Girls Scouts of Genesee Valley needs caring adults (women, parents, non-parents and men) to lead a troop or group at a time convenient for both the adult and the girls; share their professional experience; serve on committees to assist troops or council administration; volunteer for a one-time special event.

A short- or long-term commitment will help influence tomorrow's leaders, according to Girl Scout officials. Leadership, safety and outdoor training are provided. New leaders can complete training this summer and start new troops in the fall. To become a Girl Scout volunteer, call 239-7920.
