Library establishes wish list on line

The Ogden Farmers' Library has recently established a wish list on the Internet book-buying site Amazon.com. This list contains titles of books, videos, DVDs, and music CDs that the library would like to add to its collection. People who would like to make a donation to the library can go to Amazon.com, browse the list and select a title or titles they would like to buy for the library. Payment is made online by credit card, and the library is notified of each item purchased.

To find the library wish list, go to www.amazon.com and click the "Wish List" button that appears at the top of the screen. On the next page, look for a box on the right side of the screen that says "Find a Wish List." Type "Ogden Farmers' Library" in the box underneath "Enter Name of Email" and click "Go." The list should appear on your screen. To purchase an item, click on the "Add to Cart" button and follow the instructions that follow.

Buying a book or other item for the library is a wonderful way of honoring a friend or family member. Every item donated will have a memorial book plate inserted in the front, listing the name of the person who made the donation and the name of the person the donor is honoring. The donor will also have the opportunity to be the first to borrow the item,
