Summer happenings at the Byron-Bergen Public Library

•Photography workshop held at the Byron-Bergen Public Library on July 29 and August 5 at 7 p.m. This two part hands-on workshop will teach how to take pictures, what to look for when taking pictures, and help find out where to improve picture-taking skills. Darlene Markle shows how to "Picture This! Imagine That." Registration is required and is recommended for ages 10 and up (adults welcome)

•Preschool story time will be at the Byron-Bergen Public Library through August 8 at 10:30 a.m. Story, craft and snack.

•Storytime for children ages 5 and up will be at the Byron-Bergen Public Library on Tuesdays from July 22 to August 12 at 7 p.m. Readings and crafts on NY state theme "Picture This! Imagine That! ... Read!

•Origami workshop July 24 at 7 p.m. Join the Rochester Origami Club for paper folding that's creative, colorful, sometimes silly and always fun. Class size is limited and is recommended for children ages 5 and up.

•Karen Reisdorf offers a Clay Sculpting class. This workshop is limited space. Call to reserve. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
