Booth joins Lakeside board

Richard L. Booth has joined the Lakeside Foundation Board of Directors. "Dick has been such an active member of the Brockport community and a supporter of Lakeside for many years. I know he will be a great asset to the Foundation and Lakeside's Quality Care Close to Home," stated John M. Bansbach, Chairman of the Board. Booth, a long time resident of Brockport, was part owner of The Brockport Agency. He was involved with many community organizations including the Town of Sweden Planning Board, YMCA Committee of Management, Brockport Lions Club, Brockport Symphony Association, Brockport Bears Pop Warner Football (Originator, President for 10 years and Head Coach for 2 years), Brockport Little League Coach and President and HCS Post #379 American Legion Baseball Head Coach. He recently supervised the remodeling of the new Community Center in the Town of Sweden. Booth also served on the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of NYS.

"I lived in Brockport until 1980. All of my children were born at Lakeside. As I am again getting involved in Brockport activities, I can think of no finer organization to become associated with than Lakeside and to help where possible with future growth," stated Booth.

Booth is currently a Real Estate Broker for Bristol Hills Realty and lives at Bristol Harbour in Canandaigua. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Naples and is a member of CRB: Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers. Booth recently completed two years as Commodore of the Bristol Cliffs Yacht Club with a 30 percent increase in membership.
