Meal prices for Spencerport schools listed

Spencerport Central School District meal prices for the 2003-04 school year are as follows: student breakfast price of $.75 remains the same for 2003-2004; Elementary K-5 lunch remains $1.50. Secondary lunch 6-12 increases to $1.75.

Parents may prepay for meals. Students can give prepayments to the cashiers in their buildings; checks should be made payable to "Spencerport School Lunch Fund." All a la carte items are handled on a cash basis. A la carte milk is $.45; a student who purchased milk or lunch may purchase a second milk for $.30. Ice cream prices vary from $.50 to $.65.

On the first day of school, September 3, the menu will feature chicken nuggets with dipping sauces and a roll. Vegetable and fruit choices are offered daily. A popular choice at the secondary level is the pasta bar, according to school officials.

Free and reduced meal applications are available in all school buildings and in the School Food Service office in the Administration Building. Applications for a free or reduced meal can be made at any time during the school year.
