Parma Free Center welcomes new teacher

Therese Flannery was hired to teach the 5's class and 4's only class at Parma Free Center, formerly the Parma Free Methodist Nursery School. Flannery is a graduate of SUNY Brockport and has extensive experience working with young children in educational environments. She says she looks forward to learning with the children through interactive activities to prepare them for kindergarten. She believes preschool in a Christian atmosphere is important because it gives the children not only educational development, but builds a strong spiritual base to support children in our current society. She joins teachers Pam Merrill and Jania Hogue.

The classes meet at St. Leo's new building on Lake Avenue in Hilton. For information on the classes for 2's, 3's, 4's, and 5's call 392-5792 or 392-8240. A brochure and registration materials can be mailed.

An Open House for meeting the teachers for the fall classes will be held on Thursday, September 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Classes begin on Monday, September 8.
