Jaimie Miller, 16, of Hilton, attended Stagedoor Manor this year, a theater camp in the Catskills. In each of the summer's three sessions, students aged 8 to 17 spend three weeks rehearsing 11 shows, which are then performed for the public either at one of Stagedoor's five theaters or at one of the nearby Catskills resorts like The Raleigh or The Concord. Miller appeared in "Smile."


Attorney David H. Ealy has been made a partner in the Rochester law firm of Shapiro, Rosenbaum, Liebschutz & Nelson, LLP. Ealy practices primarily in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency and state and federal commercial litigation.

A 1980 graduate of the University of Rochester, Ealy received his law degree in 1986 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a past Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association Bankruptcy Court Committee, and has been an author and speaker on a variety of bankruptcy related topics.

Ealy resides in Spencerport with his wife, Patricia, and their children, Shannon, Christine and Justin.


Nicholas Saunders, son of Barbara and David Saunders of Ogden, a graduate of Spencerport High School and presently a senior at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, graduated from the Army ROTC National Advanced Leadership Camp at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington.


Jennifer L. Buttery, the daughter of Janet and Jess Buttery of Saint Katherine Way in Brockport, was named the recipient of The Winslow Prize in Greek at Hamilton College's annual Convocation, held on August 31. The Convocation ceremony officially opened the 192nd year of Hamilton College.

The Winslow Prize in Greek, established by William Copley Winslow, is awarded to a member of the sophomore class attaining the greatest proficiency in Greek for the year.

Buttery is a sophomore at Hamilton, and is a graduate of Brockport High School.
