"Bye Bye, Birdie" coming to Brockport High School auditorium

The Brockport High School Drama Club presents "Bye Bye, Birdie." The three performances will be presented in the BHS Auditorium on Friday, November 7 at 8 p.m., Saturday, November 8 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 9 at 2 p.m. This musical is based on the Broadway hit inspired by the hysteria surrounding Elvis Presley's induction into the Army in the 1960s and traces the shock waves of a drafted Rock & Roll star, Conrad Birdie.

The BHS Production staff includes Neil Czerniak, director; Liz Banner, vocal director; and Shawn Halquist, music director. More than 100 Brockport High School students make up the cast, pit orchestra, stage and tech crews. The Brockport High School Drama Club has performed entertaining musicals to sold-out audiences over the past few years.
